It's been a pretty busy past few weeks! I'm sure you're all thinking the same thing! We were planning to be out of town the week before Christmas, which meant Max and I would miss out on all of our school parties. We cancelled at the last minute, which meant that this Mom/Teacher was the one who did absolutely NOTHING to contribute to any class parties! I promise I will make up for it next year!
On the plus side, Max got to see Santa, a lot. If you've been a follower, you know that Max is somewhat, ummm... cautious. Santa is more like Satan to him. We went over to our friend's house for the annual meet and greet, and surprisingly, Max was pretty chatty with Satan Santa. In the first picture, he's asking Santa if he can pet his fur. Santa obliged. Then, he asked if he had to drive a car. What? Wait? Whoa Whoa Whoa, I'm not prepared for these types of questions! We've pretty much avoided Santa for four years. Santa answered that he couldn't bring his sleigh because it wasn't snowing. Great thinking Big Guy, so what am I supposed to say when it doesn't snow on Christmas?
I thought we got some pretty good pictures, though. Rush is cool with any situation nowadays as long as he has a car or a ball in his hand!
My sweet little baby, Rush Emerson, 14 months old.
This one just melts my heart... Tucker just swung his arm around Max. I hope these two are always friends! (Mostly because I know that all parents and grandparents involved will always watch out and keep both of them in line!)

PS: If you're reading this, THIS is the only Christmas greeting you'll be receiving from the Neufer Family this year! If I couldn't even remember to get cookies for a preschool Christmas party, how do you expect me to remember to make Christmas Cards!! Maybe we'll get something together by St. Patrick's Day!
